L’Esprit de Grand-Pr\u00e9<\/em><\/strong> est une s\u00e9rie qui se compose de neuf tableaux. En 2007, Georgette fut la premi\u00e8re artiste en r\u00e9sidence au Lieu historique national de Grand-Pr\u00e9 en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, Canada.<\/p>\n

Dans chacune de ces \u0153uvres, il y a des symboles qui tentent de capturer les esprits du pass\u00e9 ainsi que les \u00e9motions et les exp\u00e9riences m\u00e9morables qu\u2019on peut vivre en visitant la r\u00e9gion de Grand-Pr\u00e9 en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, lieu de la D\u00e9portation des Acadiens en 1755.<\/p>\n

The series l\u2019Esprit de Grand-Pr\u00e9<\/em><\/strong> which consists of nine paintings was created by Georgette Bourgeois. In 2007 she was the first Artist in Residence at the Grand-Pr\u00e9 National Historic Site of Canada.<\/p>\n

\n

Each painting contains a number of symbols that attempt to capture the spirits of the past, and the emotions and memorable experiences that can be felt when visiting Grand-Pr\u00e9, the site commemorating the Deportation of the Acadians in 1755.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
